Science City of AP- Rocketry Challenge competition

The attention of District Educational officers and Additional Project Coordinators of Samagra Shiksha in the State is invited to the reference cited where Science City of Andhra Pradesh proposed to conduct Rocketry Challenge. The Science City of Andhra Pradesh will be conducting Rocketry Challenge which is a South India–level rocketry competition designed to ignite the next generation of aerospace talent in India. This event is not just a competition; it is a platform to spark innovation, particularly from grassroots regions where talent often remains untapped. The program aims to identify and nurture teams capable of contributing to India’s aerospace future and potentially becoming part of larger space missions. The challenge offers participants opportunities to design, build, and launch rockets, gain technical training, and explore pathways into India’s emerging space-tech ecosystem. Two-Tier Structure 1.College Level (Age 16+) – Chemical Rocketry 2.School Level (Class 6–10) – Hydro Rocketry This two-tiered challenge structure allows the Science City of Andhra Pradesh, to engage a broad range of students. The collegelevel event fosters high-level engineering skills, while the







 school-level event sparks an early interest in science and aerospace. This approach creates a pipeline of talent and promotes a national culture of scientific inquiry and innovation, strengthening India's position in the global space sector. Part 1: College and Above –
