With reference to the subject cited, It is hereby informed that the
Aadhaar Payment Bridge (APB) has been made mandatory from the Academic
Year 2023-24 for the beneficiaries of NMMS (Fresh & Renewal) to receive the
Scholarship vide reference cited.
Further, a total of 991 Fresh applications belongs to NMMS 2022
beneficiaries and 999 Renewal applications belongs to NMMS 2019, 2020 &
2021 beneficiaries were rejected by the PFMS at the time of disbursement of
scholarship. Major reason for rejection was "UID Never Enabled for DBT"
wherein Aadhaar of the applicant was never seeded on the NPCI mapper. The
second major reason was «UID Disabled for DBT" wherein Aadhaar was
initially seed on the NPCI mapper but later deseeded. The rejected lists are
available in this office website www.bse.ap.gov.in for the convenient of the
students with detailed reasons. This office has issued press notifications in this
regard though some of the students are not yet get seeded their Aadhaar
number to their Bank Account.
In light of the above, you are requested to look into the matter and
instruct the Head Masters of NMMS beneficiaries to ensure Seeding of Aadhaar
to the Bank of Accounts of all the NMMS beneficiaries without fail otherwise
the students will not get the scholarship.
