The Andhra Pradesh Government is making persistent eforts to raise the status of the girl child in the society as well as incentivize her education through various schemes and programs. As such Government has taken a policy decision that “Every Mandal should have Jr.Colleges i.e. one Jr. College exclusively for Girls in the State. Accordingly, 294 Existing High Schools / KGBVs were Upgraded into High Schools Plus (Junior Colleges) in the State vide
