2. Certain complaints received from East Godavari and Tirupathi dists on

expiry of Ragi jaggery stock at school point.

The attention of all District Education Officers in the state invited

reference read above that, The government of Andhra Pradesh has giving

utmost priority on implementation Jagannan Gorumudda. Nearly 33 lakhs

children are getting benefitted in 44000 schools daily duly availing jagananna

Gorumuddda.

The Govt has reviewed the malnutrition among school going

children and directed to bring drastic changes in the existing menu and

instructed to revision of menu to provide the day wise variety menu and

issued Govt. Memo. Under revised menu Government has also ordered to

provide Peanut Jageery chikki for three days and 5 eggs in a week as an

additional item to address malnutrition. The scheme is implementing

w.e.f.Janauary 2020.

Further, Government has reviewed the implementation of Jagananna

Gorumudda every fortnight and decided to inclusion of millets to additional

nutrition of eggs and Chikki under Jagananna gorumudda" scheme.

In this connection, it is decided to provide Ragi java(150 ml for

each student) to school children for 3 days in a week on non chikki

days(i.e. Tuesday, Thrursay ,Saturday) in all Govt. Schools with the

contribution of Sri Satya Sai Cental Trust, Puttaparthi. Department has
