The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Ofcers in the state is invited to the reference cited. They are informed that STEP (Standardized Test of English Profciencyy from The Hindu Group has been involved in technology enabled English Language assessment and training programmes for students, teachers & youth since 2016. Now they proposed to conduct a support training programme to Andhra Pradesh school teachers in their transition to English Medium.
Audio –Visual material, lesson plans and student material for literacy and spoken English is the content. The delivery will be in the mode of train the trainer (Master Trainersy. Further, they are informed that the schedule for proposed teachers training workshop in 8 districts, excluding public holidays is detailed hereunder
