Sub: AP Samagra Shiksha – PM SHRI 2023-24 – Strengthening of Existing Schools under Non Recurring Budget - Release of 1st instalment to the PFMSIAs accounts – sanction accorded
In the references cited, administrative sanction was accorded for Strengthening of existing schools under PM SHRI 2023-24 for Rs.6522.34 lakhs for 1813 physical units of Chemistry Lab, Lab equipment for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Science in 597 schools. The Budget allocation towards construction of 323 Chemistry Labs with an estimated cost of Rs. 15.58 lakhs each unit with total amount of Rs. 5032.34 lakhs has been made as per administrative sanction under PM SHRI 2023-24. To facilitate for procurement of required material such as steel, Sand, Stone and Cement etc., so as to ground the works for construction of Chemistry Lab, it is proposed to release an amount of Rs. 2.00 lakhs per each school as 1st instalment. Samagra Shiksha, sanction is here by accorded to release an amount of Rs.536.00 Lakhs (Rupees Five Crores and Thirty six Lakhs only) as against budget allocation available during the year 2023-24 towards 1st instalment amount for the civil works sanctioned in PM SHRI 2023-24
