National Water Awards – Launch & Request for participation and creating awareness for the 5th National Water Awards 2023 – Instructions
All the District Educational ofcers and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are hereby informed that, the Water Resources Department intends to launch and conduct 5th National Water Awards with an objective of encouraging the stakeholders to adopt holistic approach towards water resources conservation and management. The Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation is organizing 5th National Water Awards,2023. The last date for receiving entries is 15th December,2023. Applications for awards can be submitted only through online on the website www.awards.gov.in. The following are the General terms and conditions : 1. The awardees who have received award in the last 1 year will not be considered for award in the subsequent year i.e. no awards will be given to same entity for consecutive years. 2. Each applicant must submit a one page brief(not more than 500 words) on his/her/its achievements during the last one year i.e. past one year calculated from date of launch of award to the corresponding date of the previous year. For eg. If awards are launched on portal on 1st August, 2023, the work should pertain to one year period starting from 1st August of the preceding year.
3. The work of the shortlisted applicants will be evaluated by Ground Truthing(GT) teams nominated by the Ministry. The GT teams will ensure that last one year work is considered of applicant for evaluation. 4. Each shortlisted applicant is expected to provide full cooperation to the Ground Truthing teams nominated by the Ministry during their visits
