School Education – TCS – National Level Rural IT Quiz 2023 – State Level Quiz Results – participation in Regional Level Online Quiz - Certain instructions
Regional Joint Directors and the District Educational Officers in the state are informed that, as per the reference 2nd cited above, the Department of Electronics, IT, BT and S & T, Government of Karnataka in association with Tata Consultancy Services announced the National Rural IT Quiz 2023 program. The Rural IT Quiz has been a very successful program for the past 23 years and has earned an entry in the Limca Book of Records as the first IT Quiz program for rural students in India. Further you were requested to send top 23 students from each District to participate in State Level Online Quiz. Out of 26 Districts, 8 Districts, they are Anakapalli, Ananthapur, Chittoor, East Godavari, Krishna, Sri Satya Sai, Tirupati and Vijayanagaram sent their lists in time. On Special request we included 2 more districts Bapatla& Guntur which shared lately. We have sent about 200 above students to take part in this online Quiz from Andhra Pradesh. They took part in the Online State Level Quiz Programme held on the 4th& 7th October, 2023. It is informed that, as per the reference 1st cited above, we are happy to announce that,six students from Andhra Pradesh have got selection for Regional Level Online round which will be conducted at 10 AM on 1st
November, 2023 through Online. We got 5 students’ names and one yet to be announced. They may participate in Regional Level Online Quiz from the respective School under the presence of the Guide Teacher. If they succeed in this round they will get Rs.10,000/- to Rs.1,00,000/- cash Prize. The syllabus for the next round will be as follows: The quiz will mainly focus on application of Technology across various sectors and aspects such as: the technology environment, the business, its people, new trends, legends, etc. Areas where IT has made an impact - education, entertainment, book
