Circular on Issue of Digitally Signed SSC Certificates through Digilocker Portal

It is hereby informed that, under the Digital India Programme of the
Government of India, a flagship initiative known as “Digilocker" was launched
by the Ministry of Electronics & IT, GOI, in the year 2015 for "Digital
Empowerment" of the citizens by providing access to authentic digital
documents to citizen's digital document wallet.
As part of the Digitization of Secondary School Certificates (SSC), the
Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh, has registered itself as an
"Issuer" in the Digilocker Portal and has published the Digitally signed SSCc
Certificates in the Digilocker portal, initially for the Regular, Private and ASE
Stream from the years 2004-2007 and 2012-2023, which can be accessed by
the passed students from their personal Digilocker accounts. AIl the
Certificates from the years 2004-2023 will be made available in Digilocker
shortly.
The Digitally Signed SSC Issued in the Digilocker Portal is deemed to be
at par with the original physical SSC as per Rule 9A of the Information
Technology (Preservation and Retention of information by Intermediaries
providing Digilocker facilities) Rules, 2016 notified on 8th February 2017 vide
G.S.R 711(E).
All the students who have passed the SSC Public Examinations from the
year 2004 could be able to avail of this facility through the Official Website of
Digilocker viz.









 https://www.digilocker.gov.in, or through the Official Digilocker
Android Application which is available in the Google Play Store. The following
prerequisites are necessary from the candidate's side i.e., from the candidate to
access his/her Digilocker SSC Certificate:
