2 Final Gazette Notifications: G-15 to G-40, dated: 03.04.2022, relating to
the restructuring of districts in Andhra Pradesh.

FINANCE (PC-TA) DEPARTMENT
In the reference 1 read above, oders were issued revising the rates of
House Rent Allowance (HRA) in supersession of the orders issued at para 8 of GO
Ms No.1 Fin (PC-TA) Department dated 17.01.2022.

Read the following:-
3 CMP No.4882/Addl. Secy (MRY2022, dated 07.10.2022 along with the
representations of the Employees Associations.
In the reference 2 read above, the Govenment have issued the final
Gazette Notifications relating to the restructuring of the existing Districts & Revenue
Divisions in the State, & inter-alia Parvathipuram, Paderu, Amalapuram,
Bhimavaram, Bapatla, Narsaraopeta, Puttaparthy and Rayachoty have become the
District headquarters of restructured districts.
The aforementioned District headquarters do not fullfill the popula.
parameters stipulated for sanction of HRA @ 16%, & the HRA is allowed @ 12%
PRC 2022.

In the reference 3 read above, the Employees working in the aforementioned
District headquarters have requested to extend the HRA @ 16% to al the District
headquarters in the State, in relaxation of the stipulated population parameters, on
the analogy of the (13) erstwhile District headquarters.

Government, after careful examination of the matter, hereby order to enhance
the House Rent Allowance (HRA) from the existing 12% to 16% in respect of the
District headquarters of Parvathipuram, Paderu, Amalapuram, Bhimavaram, Bapatla,
Narsaropeta, Puttaparthy & Rayachoty.
These orders shall be applicable with prospective effect from 01.06.2023.
