School Education-Aided – Payment of Maintenance Grant – Certain instructions
he attention of the all District Educational Ofcers in the state is invited to the reference 1st to 3rd read above and they are informed that certain instructions have already been issued for release of Maintenance Grant to the Private Aided Schools vide reference 3rd cited. However, several managements of private aided schools have approached the Hon'ble High Court for release Maintenance Grant without submitting proposals in time OR submitting proposals without fulflling the norms. Therefore, all the District Educational Ofcers in the State are once again informed that if the management fails to fulfll the norms, action should be taken as per rules and if the management fails to submit the annual administrative reports within the stipulated time, the claims shall be rejected by way of a speaking order. Only those claims of the managements that have fulflled the norms and have submitted the annual administration reports supported by the audited statement of accounts duly audited by the Chartered Accountants within the stipulated time shall be submitted to the Commissioner of School
Education for further action. If any lapse /14 slackness identifed in this regard and the case is escalated to the level of contempt/14personal appearance/14 punishment to the authorities, responsibility shall be fied on the concerned and action will be initiated as per rules
