Guidelines for the conduct of orientation to the District Resource Groups and teachers on LIP and its implementation strategies 1. Conduct of training to District Resource Persons (DRPs) –  • The training will be in the 10 LIP districts @ 50 per district. The training venue DIET or any other convenient place. • training to 50 DRPs @ 10 per subject i.e., Telugu, English, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies. • The District Resource Person trainings will be conducted in blended mode i.e., online and interaction with Resource Persons physically. • The CIPS and partner organizations and State Resource Group members will provide the training. • selection of DRPs: The DIET Principals shall carefully identify the DRPs who are committed and competent in both content knowledge in the subject and pedagogy. •  One District Resource Person per subject per School complex will be selected, so we have to select 5 DRPs for each subject (Telugu English mathematics science and Social Studies) for each school complex. • 10 District Resource Persons per subject will be selected, for example Ananthapuram DIET principal has select 10 Telugu District Resource Person from Ananthapuram district and 10 Telugu resource persons from Sri Satya Sai district. Like this in all subjects in all the 10 districts. • DIET Principal has to identify suitable venue to accommodate 50 district resource persons, five class rooms with LCD projector facility for conduct of online session • All DIET faculty shall attend one day District Resource Person training at district level, they will be act as observers or resource persons for teacher trainings at divisional / sub-divisional / school Complex level. • State level Resource Persons will brief each session and also clarify the doubts after online presentation of the session topic.  • It is DIET Principals responsibility to conduct trainings to the DRPs in both the districts i.e., old and new districts. • DIET Principal has to ensure required Logistics for the conduct of training effectively. He himself along with DIET staff must present and participant in the training. 2. Conduct of one day













 training to the teachers at divisional / sub-divisional / school complex level - selection of venues and conduct of training: • Each batch shall be of 35-40 teachers. The participants are the teachers at Upper primary schools and high schools. • The trainings to be conducted on two successive dates from 24th to 26th. The day one will be on the language subjects i.e., Telugu and English and the day two will be for the non-language subjects i.e., Mathematics, Science, Social Studies. • If there are 400 subject teachers in Telugu in the district, principal has to identify 10 venues @ 40 teachers in each venue. On the day one the venue requires two rooms
