Samagra Shiksha-Organizing a State level TOT on COVID sensitive WASH in Schools and Swachtha Action Plans (SAs) to the multiple Stakeholders-Request for submission of details of Master Trainers
The State Project Coordinator, UNICEF, CEE South, A.P has stated that the Centre for Environment Education South, UNICEF and Samagra Shiksha, Andhra Pradesh are jointly implementing 'Strengthening Swachha Vidyalaya Initiative (SSVI)' in Andhra Pradesh State since September 2019. During the frst phase of the project, data on 41 indicators related to WASH was collected through the Wins app and 5337 schools were identifed as one-star (WASH status is poor and needs considerable improvement) and two stars (WASH status is fair, but needs improvement) schools. The aim of the phase -III is to upgrade the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) status of government schools from one star and two stars to three stars (Good, but there is scope for improvement) and above by December 2022 and also desires to organize half a day State level orientation programme (Virtual) to master trainers ten members from each district on 11.10.2022 to develop the SAPs pertaining to WASH. Project Coordinators and the Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the state are requested to submit the details of master trainers of(10)Ten Members from each District to develop the Swachhata Action Plan pertaining to WASH on or before 30.09.2022 to take further course of action
