School Education – Up-gradation of 292 Government High Schools into high School Plus for Girls from the Academic Year 2022-23 – Request to Supply Intermediate 1st & 2nd year Text Books for smooth conduction of High School Plus in the state
I wish to submit that the Government has taken a policy decision that “Every mandal should have Jr Colleges i.e., one Jr. College exclusively for Girls in the State”. Accordingly, in the ref 1st cited, the Government has accorded permission to Up – grade 292 High Schools into High School Plus for girls from the Academic year 2022 – 23 and allotted 40 students per section and also advised to choose two groups among these three groups ie., MPC, BiPC and CEC . As such, appropriate instructions are issued with regard to admissions to the Headmasters concerned to take up admissions into class XI in two streams out of three groups i.e M.P.C, Bi.P.C and CEC. The Annual Academic Programme (Calendar) for the Academic year 2022-23 designed by Intermediate Education has been communicated to all the Headmasters concerned
In the ref 2nd cited, the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, AP was requested to afliate these 292 High School Plus to Intermediate board for further administrative aspects, that are to be fulflled on par with other Government Junior Colleges in the State like BIE authentication for classifed data enrollment, Supply of Text books etc., The list of 292 High Schools Plus Mandal wise is also furnished. In the ref 3rd cited, the Commissioner of Intermediate Education, AP addressed a letter to the Director, AP Government Text Books Press, Guntur to printing and supply of Intermediate Text books for the academic year 2022-23 for 1st year (27 titles) and 2nd year (27 titles) distributing the text books to the students studying in Govt.,/Aided/ High School Plus/ Other Govt Junior Colleges in the state. In the ref 4th cited, a meeting was held with regard to 292 High School Plus and the meeting was attended by the Special Chief Secretary to the Government, School Education Department, AP, the Commissioner of School Education, AP and the
Commissioner of Intermediate Education, A.P along with the exigency one of the High School Plus of the School Education and Intermediate Education departments. In the meeting it is agreed to supply the text books on free of cost to all the 292 High Schools Plus, the AP Model Schools and KGBV schools medium wise. In the reference 5th & 6th cited, the Director, A.P.M.S and the Secretary, KGBV have submitted their indent for requirement of Text Books
