In the reference cited, wherein the DIRECTOR Animal Husbandry Veterinary Complex, Vijayawada informed that, during the Executive Committee meeting of Andhra Pradesh State Animal Welfare Board ( APSAWB ) held on 11.07.2022 under the chairperson ship of the Special Chief Secretary, AHDD & F Dept, Government of A.P (Chairperson of the APSAWB), a resolution was passed to involve the School education for establishing the Animal welfare Clubs in connection with “promotion of Animal Welfare” in the state. Humane education can play an important role in creating a compassionate and caring society. Further, coated that it works toward addressing the root causes of human cruelty and abuse of animals. Compassionate class is inspiring educational programme for primary school aged children. It encourages and furthers their development of compassion and empathy through a series of fun and engaging animal welfare topics. Using an interactive, stimulating and discussion-based approach, compassionate class curriculum provides a thought-provoking and lively learning experience. Resources include flms, animations and real life stories to enable children to better understand the varied needs of diferent animals and also for establishing the “Animal Welfare Kindness Clubs”. In this regard, Education experts believe that teaching children to care for and respect animals from an early age can bring about positive change for children and animals. In view of the above, all the Regional Joint Directors for School Education and the District Educational ofcers in the state are informed to issue necessary instructions to all the Head Masters under their jurisdiction on establishing the “Animal Welfare Kindness Clubs” in all the schools under all
