Educational Officers in the State are informed that Sri.Sheshagiri K.M.Rao,

Education Specialist, UNICEF has informed that "in respect of Real time

monitoring of implementation of Covid-19 protocols in schools, how school

reopening is being managed with adherence to the basics of preventing

Covid-19 spread in children UNICEF NGO partners are going to visit schools

and collect data.

Further informed that, UNICEF has a network of NGO partners across

AP in all districts. Through these partners, they will be able to collect data

on a weekly basis from 1200 schools along with the locations/Panchayats

across the state of AP, using a simple checklist is developed by UNICEF.

This exercise will continue up to the remaining part of this academic year,

as long as schools are open and way of selection of schools will be

primary, middle and secondary schools for this exercise.

Therefore, all the RJDSEs/ DEOs are requested to issue necessary

instructions to all field officers ie., DyEOs, MEOs/HMs of all schools to

enable the UNICEF-NGOs Partners to visit the selected schools in their

respective districts and collect data on the above said purpose.
