-Immediate action to stop entrance test for admission of children from class 1 to 8 and also for proper implementation of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act 2009 in all States and UTs of India- Instructions
The attention of the all the Regional Joint Directors of School
Education and all the District Educational Ofcers in the state is invited to the
subject cited and they are directed to instruct all the Private Management
Institutions under their control for not conducting the Talent test/Screening test/
Admission Test/Scholarship Test etc., for admission to any class from Pre-
Primary in any school under any management or any syllabus (State
syllabus/CBSE/ICSE/any other) as the same is dispensed with and against
the spirit of Section 13 of Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 and
Andhra Pradesh Educational Rules.
They are further informed that any deviations in this regard are
punishable under the Section 13(2)(b) of the RTE Act with fne, which may
extend to Rs 25,000/- for the frst contravention and Rs. 50,000/- for each
subsequent contravening admission.
As such, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and all
the District Educational Ofcers in the state are directed to bring the same to the
notice of the
