School Education & Literacy, ministry of Education is going to launch the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2021-22

All the District Educational ofcers in the state are informed that the

MoE had launched the Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar in the year 2016-17 to

recognize excellence in water, Sanitation and Hygiene in schools, in which

all the State and UTs have been participating whole heartedly.

They are further informed that the Department of school Education

& Literacy, ministry of Education is going to launch the Swachh Vidyalaya

Puraskar, 2021-22, in which a new section on COIVID Preparedness and

Response has also been added, considering its implications for health,

hygiene and safety of the children. In view of the ongoing pandemic, the

window for applying for swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar has been kept for 3

months further in case of closure of the schools, they may not be called for

the survey specifcally, they may apply as per their convenience once the

situation improves.

How to Apply:

1. All Government, Government aided and private schools from both

rural and urban areas are invited to apply for the Swachh

Vidyalaya Puraskar - https ://swachhvidyalayapuraskar.com.

2. The registration of schools would be done with the UDISE+ code of the

school

3. Schools will frst complete the primary information section in the

prescribed format and submit.

• If you do not have a UDISE+ code, download the Data Capture Format

(DCF) and submit at Block / District / State level ofce to generate the

UDISE+ code.
