SCERT – Popularisation of the Vidyanjali initiative – Certain Guidelines

While communicating a copy of the references read above, all the
Regional Joint Directors and District Educational Ofcers in the state are
informed that the Hon’ble Prime Minister has launched Vidyanjali
initiative, with the aim to strengthen schools through community,
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and private sector involvement
across the country. Vidyanjali is implemented through a portal hosted at
website of Department of School Education and Literacy where any citizen
of India/PIO/Organisation registered in India can directly connect with
government and government-aided schools and contribute in form of
services/activities/Assets/Material/Equipment.
2. Further they are informed that the aim of Vidyanjali is to act as
facilitator by connecting contributors directly to the schools. The efort is
to bridge knowledge/skill/human resource gap in the schools by tapping
the potential responsibility, but to compliment, supplement and
strengthen government eforts to reach the last mile in the best possible
way.


3. In view of the above, all the Regional Joint Directors of School
Education and all the District Educational Ofcers in the State are
requested to take personal interest in popularizing the Vidyanjali
initiative, sensitizing the Divisional, Mandal Level ofcials and Head
Masters for enhancing the quality experience in schools by release
guidelines to concerned Ofcers.
