Job Chart of School Assistants (Special Educators) under IEDSS in the State - Instructions

Project Coordinators of Samagra Shikshain the State is invited to the

references cited that 617 School Assistants (Special Educators) have been

recruited and posted in various High Schools in the State for enhancing

learning outcomes among Children with Special Needs in Secondary to

Senior Secondary Level.

The Job Chart of School Assistants (Special Educators) is defned as

follows: -

 The job chart of the School Assistants (Special Educators) is same as

regular School Assistants in the Department of School Education as

laid in G.O.Ms.No.54, Education (Ser V) dated 1.6.2000

 The School Assistants (Special Educators) those are working under

IEDSS in Secondary Schools must teach his/her concerned

methodology subject

 They must attend at least one period in the resource rooms set up

by the Headmaster concerned / school premises to the Children with

Mild and Moderate Educational Needs and at least two periods to

those having severe Special Needs.

 School Assistants (Special Educators) must support CwSN to boost

their confdence and to retain in the school till the successful
