Certifcate course on Biodiversity " by Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board for high school students (8th,9th and 10th Students only ) through a series of sessions for six Thursdays starting form 11th November 2021

All the District Educational Ofcers in the state are informed that Andhra

Pradesh State Biodiversity Board is starting a "Certifcate course on

Biodiversity " for high school students (8th,9th and 10th Students only )

through a series of sessions for six Thursdays starting form 11th

November 2021. The course is online. Diferent aspects of Biodiversity

will be explained by experts followed by assignments and Projects

including some feld work. It will be done by registration through Andhra

Pradesh Biodiversity Board in the following web link:

2. The registration is on frst come frst served basis. The course

is for (6) sessions each for about 120 minutes approx. on six Thursdays

starting from 11th November 2021. The objective test will be conducted on

successive Thursday after the lecture session on the previous week’s

topic/subject. On 7th Thursday the Objective test on the 6th Thursday topic

and fnal examination will be conducted online for the entire course

curriculum of all the (6) weeks. Assignments given every week may

include feld visit, preparation of any notes on given topics which need to

be uploaded to the website. The students may take the guidance of their

teachers/or parents for the feld/project work.

4. The course is spread over (6) weeks. The Course is conducted on

every Thursday from 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM. The students are requested to

select one of the projects from the (3) topics and submit on or before 7th

Thursday i.e., with in (7) days of completion of course (6) weeks. Every

week an examination of objective test will be conducted, based on the

previous sessions from 7.15 to 7.30 PM. Apart from this the weekly

assignments are given to the students, and they need to be uploaded
