Educational Ofcers in the State are informed that in the reference cited,

National Testing Service, India has informed that the Central Institute of

Indian Languages, a subordinate ofce of the Ministry of Education, Govt.

of India undertakes a variety of inter-disciplinary Research and

Development (R&D) work in language studies at its headquarters in

Mysore. Subsequently, National Testing Service-India (NTS-I), a unit of CIIL,

Mysore, undertakes research and material preparation activities in the

area of Language & Testing and Evaluation for Indian Languages.

2. As part of creating trained manpower in the feld of testing and

evaluation, the NTS-I conducts various twining programmes for High

School / PU / Junior College / Degree College / University level teachers

round the year. In this connection, “A five-day onlinnv Trainninno cum

Workshop on Tvstinno and Eialuatinon" for Assistant Professors /

Lecturers / Teachers (Secondary / Higher secondary/PUC/ Junior College)

and Research Scholars froth India and who are engaged in the teaching of

Telugu Language, Literature and Linguistics will be held from 20th to 24th

Svptvmbvr, 2021 at NTS-I, CIIL, Mysore through Google Meet.
