School Education – SCERT, AP – Revision of Curriculum and Textbooks for class VIII to be introduced from the Academic Year 2022–23 – Inviting applications from the interested Headmasters/Principals/Teachers from all school under all managements to work as textbook writers

All Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District
Educational Ofcers in the state are aware that the revision of curriculum
for class1 to 6 was taken up by the SCERT in the year 2019-20 and for
class 7 in the year 2020-21. Based on this curriculum, the new textbooks
have been prepared and introduced for I to VII classes in the state from
2020-2021. In continuation of this exercise, it is proposed to revise the
curriculum for class 8 and to develop VIII class textbooks which are to be
implemented from the academic year 2022-23.
2. In view of the above, applications are invited from interested
Headmasters / Principals / Teachers from all schools under all
managements to work as textbook writers/content developers with respect
to curriculum revision and textbooks development of class VIII. 
3. Therefore, all the District Educational Ofcers in the state are
requested to disseminate the below google link to all headmasters and
teachers under all managements to apply for textbook writing, content
developing and drawing /art work in connection with curriculum revision
and textbook development for VIII class. 
4. The responses will be accepted up to 18th September 2021
