: School Education - Bharat Scouts and Guides - BSG activities in Schools - Certain Instructions - Issued

All the District Educational Officers in the State are already aware that as per the

academic calendar, there are 48 periods in a week in all the schools functioning under
all managements. Out of 48 periods, certain periods are allocated for conducting of co
Curricular activities.

Guides activities are being functioning in most of the schools where in Scout and Guide
units are registered and functioning for the student Scouts and student Guides under the
training of Teachers-Scout Masters Guide Captains, under the overall supervision and
permission of the Head of the Institution. It is pertinent to mention that the Director of
School Education is the State Chief Commissioner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides
State Association Andhra Pradesh.

Further, all the District Educational Officers are aware that the Bharat Scouts and

instructions to all the Heads of the Institutions where the BSG units are functioning to
allocate adequate periods per week among the periods allocated to co curricular
activities for conducting of BSG activities exclusively.
