SCERT, AP – NAS-2021– Appointment of District Nodal Officer (DNO) –Certain instructions

ORDER:

All the District Educational Officers in the State are aware that the

National Achievement Survey (NAS) is a nationally representative sample-

based survey for understanding health of the educational system. It

assesses the grade specifc competencies achieved by students of Classes

3, 5, 8 and 10 in sample schools and students. It is particularly crucial to

have the NAS this year in view of COVID pandemic situation to assess the

learning status of the students across the country.

2. Further informed that NAS-2021 will be conducted by the Central

Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on 12-11-2021(Friday) which

requires extensive cooperation of the district authorities. In this

connection the Director, SCERT, has been appointed as State Nodal Officer

(SNO).

3. Further informed that the State Nodal Officer (SNO) i.e. Director of

SCERT-A.P. has nominated all the District Educational Officers as District

Nodal Officers (DNO) for smooth conduction of NAS-2021. The details of

DNO credentials (user id ) might have been sent to the email ids

concerned, password is to be set by the District Educational Officer

concerned. In turn all the District Educational Officers have to nominate

Field Investigators (FIs) i.e Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) in

https://nas.education.gov.in/nasHome for conduction of NAS in sample

schools.
