Construction of Gram Shachivalayas / Other constructions in the premises of schools under administrative control of the Government/Local Bodies – Taking over the possession of such occupations – Certain Instructions
The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state is
invited to the references read above, and they are informed that certain
instructions were issued to them with regard to Court Case in
C.C.No.1209/2021 in W.P.No.9883/2020 to take the possession of other
Dept occupations such as Gramasachivalayams, RBKs etc in School
premises which are not connected to the School activity and to furnish an
affidavit to that effeect that possession of all such occupations are taken by
Education Department.
They are further informed that, if any possession is not handed over
for any specifc reason the same should be mentioned clearly with reasons
for the same. The affidavit of each dist with individual School possession
taken over certifcate along with photos and also with district wise
consolidated statement should reach this Office by 20th of this month as
the said contempt case is posted for hearing on 1st of next month.
All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education in the State
should pursue the matter with the DEOs under their jurisdiction, till the
closure of the said contempt case.
