Rashtriya Aavishkar Saptah – 2020 from 15th October to 21th October, 2020 commemorating our former president late A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s Birth Anniversary during October 2020.

The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state is invited

to the subject cite above, wherein the National Council of Educational Research

and Training (NCERT) has proposed Rashtriya Aavishkar Saptah – 2020

from 15th October to 21th October, 2020 commemorating our former

president late A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s Birth Anniversary during October 2020. This

endeavor has an objective of generating interest about exploration &

experimentation by school children in the country besides sensitization of some

common issues and problems faced by our society.

The topic of this year’s programme is “Water Auditing and

Calculation of Carbon Footprint ”. It is expected that three to five schools of

each Block/Mandal will involve children in conducting activities as per the guide

lines shared with states nodal officer/representatives during the RAS 2020 Online

National Consultative Google Meeting organised in NCERT. The guidelines of RAS

2020 is also being uploaded on the NCERT website. (Copy of guidelines are also

enclosed). The needful direction may be given to officials at district and

block/mandal level functionaries through the SPD, Samagra Shiksha to get the

activities conducted in selected schools of their respective blocks /mandals as per

the guidelines of Rashtriya Avishkar Saptah with needful support as per the

provision 6 Rashtriya Aviskar Abhiyan guidelines.
