MDM Scheme – Closure of Residential Educational Institutions in view of Spreading of Corona Virus – Requested to handover the available Chikkies to HMs – certain instructions issued

All the District Educational Officers in the State are aware that, during

summer vacation in lieu of Mid Day Meal, the distribution of dry ration (Phase-III) to

the school going children consisting of Rice, Eggs and Chikkies through Head

Masters along with the Gram Volunteers is under process.

Further, it is hereby informed that, the Secretary, APREI Society vide ref

read above, proposed to handover the following items (Bombay Ravva, Wheat flour,

Jaggery, Ground nut seeds, Fried ChanaDal, Chikkies) in respect of food and

provisions available in the Hostels of Residential Institutions to the responsible

persons inorder to utilize the items for the purpose of MDM Scheme.

Further, it is hereby informed that already instructions were given to the

Secretary, APREI Society, Guntur to handover the Chikkies which are in good

condition to nearby School Headmasters of Govt/ZP/MPP/Aide.

In this regard, all the District Educational Officers in the State are hereby

informed to issue necessary instructions to the School Head Masters of

ZPP/MPP/Govt/Aided to take over the Chikkies from the Principals of Residential

Educational Institutions duly verifying the quality by sampling and if the chikkies

are not up to mark as per quality standards, they are not to be taken.
