I wish to inform you that World Health Organization (WHO) has declared that

recent Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic is affecting all the regions of the

world as Pandemic.

In this context, to prevent and contain spread of COVID-19 in the State,

Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued certain instructions in the reference 1st

cited. As per the orders of the Government all educational, training, coaching

(Schools /Colleges / Universities) institutions shall be closed with immediate effect up

to 31.03.2020. All hostels and boarding facilities for students / trainees should be

evacuated immediately and arrangements should be made for sending students

trainees to their respective homes under due precautions.

Accordingly the Commissioner of School Education, AP has issued instructions

to close all the residential schools and the same was followed by in the summer

vacation for the academic year 2019-20 and hence all the residential Schools i.e

KGBVs functioning under Samagra Shiksha will continue to be dlosed till 02.08.2020.

At this juncture some of the Addl. Project Directors of Samagra Shiksha have

submitted that there are some quantity of provisions stock is kept un-utilised which

were supplied to the KGBVs previously i.e. prior to announcement of Lockdown.

Further the APCs were informed that the provisions are semi perishables and going

to be decayed naturally even after taking safety precautions and hence requested for
