Jagananna Vidya Kanuka” – Procurement and supply of Uniform cloth and provide stitching charges

In the G.O 6th read above, Government have accorded administrative sanction,

for procurement and supplying of student kits with the components i.e., Uniform

Cloth, Text Books, a set of Note Books, a pair of Shoes and two pairs of Socks, a Belt

and School Bag to all the School students studying in classes I – X in all Government

Management Schools during the Academic Year 2020-2021 under “Jagananna Vidya

Kanuka” and to propose the same under Annual Working Plan and Budget (AWP&B) of

Samagra Shiksha with 60% grants from Government of India and 40% grants from the

Government of Andhra Pradesh during the financial year 2020-2021.

2. In the reference 7th read above, the SPD, APSS., has informed that there is no

provision for supplying of uniforms to IX and X class students under PAB of Samagra

Shiksha. The budget required for children studying in welfare hostels and institutions

is generally provided under the budget of the respective departments. But, there is no

budget head under School Education for supply of uniform and a head of account is to

be provided for this purpose. He has, therefore, requested to consider for allocating

an amount of

Rs.80,43,88,866/- towards supply of uniform cloth (and stitching charges

@ Rs.80/-per pair) for students studying Class IX and X in the state.

3. Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby accord

administrative approval, to allocate an amount of Rs 80,43,88,866/- (Rupees Eighty

Crores Forty Three Lakhs Eighty Eight Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Six only)

towards provision of uniform cloth & uniform stitching charges for 7,59,574 students
