The District Educational Officers and Ex.Officio Project Coordinators in the

State informed that the MHRD, GOI has approved an amount of Rs.377.62 lakhs to 37762

Elementary Schools @ Rs.1000 for displaying a logo of Samagra Shiksha along with

facilities available under Samagra Shiksha PAB 2019-20 such as free text books, free

uniforms at prominent place in each Elementary School through wall paintings or display

board.

Further in PAB 2019-20 an amount of Rs.68.40 lakhs to 6840 Secondary and

Senior Secondary Schools @ Rs.1000/- for displaying a logo of Samagra Shiksha along with

facilities available under Samagra Shiksha should be displayed at prominent place in each

Secondary and Senior Secondary School through wall paintings or display board. The

approved amounts for the Elementary, Secondary and Senior Secondary is as follows.

t is further informed that the MHRD GOI has not finalized and communicated the

logo of Samagra Shiksha so far, however the facilities available under Samagra Shiksha such

as free text books, free uniforms have to be displayed at prominent place in each school

through wall paintings or display board.

It is also informed that the logo can be painted by leaving place at walls where ever

required and will have to be displayed logo after the same is received from the MHRD, GOI.

In meanwhile the Parent Committees may be informed that they can display the facilities

available under Samagra Shikha such as fee text books, free uniforms etc., have to be

displayed at prominent place in each school through wall paintings or display board.

In view of the above, sanction is accorded to the Finance Controller of this

office in the reference 2nd read above to release an amount of Rs.4,46,02,000/-

(Rs.Four Crores Forty Six lakhs and Two thousand only) to the District Educational

Officer and Ex-Officio District Project coordinator in the State as per the above

breakup mentioned against them so as to enable them to transfer the amount

allotted to the Parent Committees (SMCs and SMDCs) of Elementary,

and Senior Secondary Schools for displaying facilities available under Samagra Shiksha

such as free text books, free uniforms at prominent place in each Elementary, Secondary

and Senior Secondary Schools through wall paintings or display board.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers and Ex.Officio Project

Coordinators in the State is requested to take ne4cesswary action for distribution sof

the above amounts to Parents Committees of Elementary, Secondary and Senior

Secondary Schools to their PD Accounts Green Channel so as to enable the Parent

Committees (SMCS and SMDCs.) for utilizing the same for the purpose mentioned

above. They are further requested to issue necessary instructions and guidelines to

all the Parent Commitees in the State (SMCs and SMDCs) in the matter and see that

adhere the instructions scrupulously under intimation to this office.
