’To Sensitized on issues relating to Good touch and Bad touch” Screening of Educational film – KOMAL - Instructions Issued

The attention of the all the District Educational Officers &

Additional Project Coordinators are informed that vide reference

cited the MHRD Department of School Education & Literacy has

instructed to create awareness, to prevent any Incident of

molestation or Sexual abuse of School- children, students and

teachers need to be Sensitized on issues relating to Good touch

and Bad touch. The children need to understand and

differentiate between a physical touch which makes one feel

secure and happy.

In this regard, the Ministry of Woman and Child

Development commissioned a short animated film called

“KOMAL” on this subject and have suggested that it may be

used for sensitizing the children as well as institutions. The film

is accessible on youtube in English, Hindi and regional

languages, the links to which are enclosed at Annexure.
