The attention of all the Commissioners of (59) ULBs where Municipal Schools exists

are invited to the references cited. 1In the reference 1 cited, the teacher union representatives

have submitted that, Government have dirccted the Commissioner & Director of School

Education, AP, to credit the Earned Leave for 17 days to the Teachers of Government and

Zilla Parishad who have participated in Samaikyandhra agitation and attended the School for

33 days on Public Holidays as deemed fit. Hence, they had requested to extent the same

benefit to the Municipal Teachers.

representative have requested this office to examine the request and take

the Teacher unio

In the reference 3d cited, a proposal has been submitted to the Government to extend

the same benefit to the Municipal Teachers who have participated in Samaikyandhra ajgitation

and attended Schools for 33 days on Public Holidays in the interest of Students subject to the

conditions issued in respect of the Teachers working under School Education Department

issued in the reference 4 cited.

In the reference 5th cited, the Government had accorded permission with the
