Centre for Science and Environment-New Delhi-Deputation of award

winners to receive the prizes at Stein Auditorium, Indian Habitat Centre,

AP National Green Corps, Amravati conducting various Environmental activities in

schools in our state. APNGC collaborated with Centre for Science and Environment -New

Delhi to develop Green audit in Schools.

As part of the programme, schools carry out a rigorous audit on environmental

practices within their own premises, following a set of guidelines outlined in CSE's Green

Schools Manual. This becomes learning and teaching tool, and the result is an 'annual

audit report card' of the schools, prepared by their own students, and supervised by

their teachers. Based on these reports, the schools with the best environmental practices

have been identified and will be awarded Climate Change Awards during the award

ceremony on February 6, 2020 by 9.00 A.M at Stein Auditorium, Indian Habitat Centre,

Lodhi road, New Delhi.

This Year also our state bag Best State Award and Chittoor District Stood in Best

District in National Level. Deputed Sri.P. Neelakantaiah District Coordinator, Chittoor to

receive the Award.

Hence, I request you to The District Educational Officers of above Districts are

requested to relieve the Green Teachers (List Enclosed) to attend the ceremony and

instruct the Head masters to relieve the individual as early date and treat their absence

as on duty. Treated this is most important and urgent.

The accommodations to the participations will be provided by the Centre for

Science and Environment organisation for the above said period. The
