Launching of Jagananna Amma Vodi Programme by Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 9th January 2020 in Chittoor District - Release of amount of Rs.3 lakhs in each district - Modification - Orders
The Government of Andhra Pradesh is launching the prestigious program of
Ammavodi on 9-1-2020 and the government has issued instructions to celebrate the
Ammavodi varotsavam from 4-1-2020 to 9-1-2020. It is a weeklong celebration to
mobilize the community and to create awareness about the initiatives of the
government towards education for all. Instructions were issued to District Education
Officers to organise various programs at school level and arrange for orientation to
parents and Parents Committees towards strengthening of school infrastructure
through the community participation, sending children to schools regularly,
maintenance of sanitation, need to improve quality of education, etc.,
Hence in order to enable the District Education Officers to take up the week
long orientation to the parents and Parents
Committees, sanction is hereby accorded
for an amount of Rs.39,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Nine Lakhs Only) to the District
Project Offices, Samagra Shiksha @ Rs.3.00 lakhs per district.
