Attention is invited to the reference read, Samagra Shiksha, AP was
implementing series of Swachhata and WASH activities. As part of WASH activities in
school, it is important to bring about the desired change in children as well as other people
in school, for the optimum and right utilization of the facilities. Water, sanitation and
hygiene behaviour change communication activities need to be part of the daily routine of
all children. In this connection behavioural change among school children on better health
and hygiene practices is one of the major component of Strengthening swachh vidyalaya
initiatives,
Hence the District Educational 0fficers & Ex- Officio Project Coordinators and
the Additional Project Coordinators of the Samagra Shiksha in the state are hereby
requested to issue suitable instructions to CMOs and MEOs to implement the cleanliness
pledge and hand washing demonstration during early morning assembly on 26th january
(Rebulic day) in the schools in the state and furnish the details of No. School and students
participated along with documentation, 10 high resolution photos to this mail. ID:
