Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science & Technology (APCOST) is an organization

which promotes scientific awareness and research orientation among school going children

through National Children's Science Congress (NCSC), a flagship program of National Council

for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), DST, Govt. of India, in coordination with

the Department of School Education, Amaravathi.

In this journey, we have been encouraging scientific temperament among the children &

students of Andhra Pradesh through NCSC program, for expressing their scientific views and

mini research papers before the evaluator at various levels such as District, State and National,

by presenting their project works.

This year it is proudly stated that 3445 projects had been presented by child scientists in

all the 13 districts. Out of that 167 projects had been promoted to state level by Evaluators and

then 17 projects have been shortlisted for National Level. All the 17 Child Scientists have

participated and presented their oral and poster presentation and interacted with the eminent

scientists of India during the National Event held at MAR Ivanious College, Trivandrum, Kerala

during 27-31, December 2019. Other state Child Scientists including Asian and Gulf countries

have also participated. The Vice President of India His Excellency Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu garu

has also visited the venue and interacted with child scientists on 30.12.0219.

Hence, I request you sir, to felicitate and issue the certificates to the Child Scientists (two

members per each project along with Guide Teacher, District Coordinator & District Academic

Coordinator who rendered their services to make the event grand successes at District Leve

during the Republic Day event of 2020, so that the above members get an opportunity to receive

the honor from the highest authority of the District Administration, which will encourage them

towards the scientific research.
