Supply of furniture of 39,565 dual desks of 4ft @ Rs.5041.00/- per each to 184 schools by M/s Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd., – Random verification of furniture – Orders – Issued
All the District Educational Officer & Ex-Officio Project Coordinator
of RMSA in the State is invited to the reference 1st read above, wherein
M/s Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd., have supplied furniture of 39,565 dual
desks of 4ft @ Rs.5041.00/- per each to 184 schools during the year
2015-16.
Further, the State Project Director, A.P. SSA, Amaravati vide in
Memo.No.18/A1/SSA/C.W/S.F/2015-16, dated.01.07.2016 issued
instructions to the Project Officers in the State for verification of 39,565
dual desks of 4ft @ Rs.5041.00/- per each to the concerned Government
Secondary Schools in the State supplied by M/s Godrej & Boyce
Mfg.Co.Ltd.
Further the committee has submitted detailed report to the State
Project Director, A.P. SSA and also stated that some of the furniture may
be replaced duly rectifying defects / repairs. Based on the inspection
report show cause notice issued to the M/s Godrej & Boyce Mfg.Co.Ltd.
for rectification of defects vide
No.2/Spl/APSSA/CWs/Godrej Furniture/
2018, dated.23.07.2018 of the State Project Director, A.P.SSA, Amaravati
and the firm has stated that all the lapses were rectified.
In view of the above, all the District Educational Officer & Ex-
Officio Project Coordinator of Samagra Shiksha in the State are instructed
submit the verification report to this office on or before 12.11.2019
without fail for taking further course of action in the matter.
