supply of cosmetic / toiletry Kits

Immediate attention of the M/s Light House Promotions, Madhuranagarr

Vijayawada is drawn to the reference cited, where in orders were issued for supply of

cosmetic / toiletry Kits to the (352) KGBVs in the state for 3 months ie. December,201B,

January, 2019 & February,2019 only as per the terms and conditions laid down in MoU. As

per the orders, the firm has to deliver the items within 30 days from the date of issue of

the supply order.

But the firm has failed to supply the cosmetic / toiletry kits to the (352) KGBVs

within the stipulated time as mentioned above. The representative of the said firm has

met the State Project Director, APSS on 29-7-2019 and orally requested more time, to

deliver the Kits. At that time the State Project Director, APSS has informed the firm that

the procurement system of cosmetic / toiletry kits is going to be decentralized and the

district purchasing committee will identify the agency for supply of the above kits for this

academic year. After the said meeting there is no correspondence from the said firm,

Further, orders were issued by SPD, SSA, Vijayawada in Pro. Rc.No.BBS/ APSSA /

KGBV/2019, Dt. 8-8-2019 decentralizing the procurement of cosmetic / toiletry Kits and

directions were issued to procure at district level only through the distrlct purchase

committees

Whereas on 27-Lt-7019 it was brought to the notice of the State project office

that M/s Light House Promotions is still supplying the cosmetic / toiletry kits to the KGBVs

even after a laps of 8 months from the supply period ie. February, 2019. It was further

reported that some of the kits supplied by the firm are having Telangana state branding,
