with RDMAs, Municipal Commissioners and Engineers of 59 ULBs with Municipal Schools - held on 13-09-2019 at Vijayawada Feedback and Suggestions from the Officers during the Feedback.

During the workshop above cited, the participating RDMAs and Municipal Commissioners, came up with certain suggestions regarding Transformation of Municipal Schools (TOMS) and requested for issue of certain instructions from the Head office, so as to enable them, plan and implement at the field level, in the interest of Children studying in Municipal Schools. Accordingly, the following instructions are issued with a direction to implement them duly following the
necessary procedures:
10** Class Board Exams: > Extra classes for 10' class children with necessary logistics such as
refreshments to children during after hours. > Additional Practice tests for mid course corrections will be prepared and sent to ULBs (in soft copy) by State Academic unit. Indicative exam schedule will also
be sent. b) NMMS (National means Cum Merit Scholarship)
Municipal Commissioners are requested to ensure 8 class children in Municipal Schools and their parents are motivated to register and appear for this exam in large numbers. Extra classes to be planned.
General Instructions: Municipal Commissioners to ensure: Regular visits to schools and monthly reviews with Head Masters.
Proper sanitation in all Municipal Schools. Check for effective implementation of programs such as Mid-Day Meal Scheme,
Activities stipulated by Schoo! Education Department on Important dates
