Mid-Day Meal Scheme - Procurement and supply of eggs under for the year 2019-20 for classes I to X - revision of tender - Cancellation of existing tender

ORDER

All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that

the Government in the memo lst read above accorded permission to the

Commissioner of School Education to cancel all the existing tenders for

procurement of eggs in view of supply of poor quality Eggs and Non

supply of Eggs as per the given schedule on sometimes under Mid-Day

Meal Scheme.

Accordingly, in the proceedings 2nd read above all the District

Educational Officers were requested to cancel the existing tender as per

orders of the Government and float a revised tender for procurement of

eggs under Mid-Day Meal Scheme.

Government in the G.O 3rd read above have issued orders

formulating a Committee of Secretaries on e-procurement of goods, works

and Services. As per these orders the tender document is to be approved

by the Committee,

Therefore, the orders issued in the proceedings ldreaa above are

hereby kept in abeyance until further orders and, thus, the DEOs are

directed not to initiate for floating revised tender until further orders.

The District Educational Officers are hereby directed to take action

accordingly.
