extending financial assistance in the form of monthly pension-patients/persons suffering from certain diseases/conditions

Government in furthering its commitment to the welfare of the of the people have

decided to sanction financial assistance to the people suffering from Thalassemia and other

chronic diseases/conditions which make persons’ dependent on regular medication or on

other persons for support. Hon’ble Chief minister announced in Palasa, Srikakulam District

that Financial assistance would be provided to Patients suffering from CKD who are in

advanced stages .

2. The issue was referred to a committee of experts to suggest diseases/conditions

which might require Financial assistance from Government. As per the recommendations of

the expert committee,

Government hereby issue orders for payment of pension to the

persons suffering from certain diseases as given below.
