@@@@@ While enclosing a copy of the reference cited, all the District Project Officers, SSA and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that, the Deputy Secretary to the
Gol, MHRD, New Delhi has informed that “150"" Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi is being
commemorated for a period of two years from 2"! October, 2018 to 2"! October, 2020 throughout the nation as well as at international level. The Department of School Education & Literacy is conducting nationwide activities for the same. Intensive programmes and
activities on Mahatma Gandhi were to be organized in all schools in the county during the week from 23™ September, 2019 to 2"! October, 2019 to follow by year-long activities
culminating in Gandhi Jayanti on 2"! October, 2020. They are requested that above activities maybe organized and the action taken report in the matter in the enclosed format may be furnished to this Ministry. The photographs and videos of the events organized on the occasion may also be sent to this Ministry on email ID — ishmhrd@gmail.com and uploaded on the https:/www.gandhi.gov.in (Karyanjali) portal of Ministry of Culture. Report Format herewith enclosed.
Therefore, all the District Project Officers, SSA and District Educational Officers in the State are requested to take appropriate necessary action as per instructions of the MHRD, Gol on month wise activities organized and the action taken report may be furnished to the MHRD,
Gol above said email ID- along with the photographs and videos of the events immediately without fail and extend a copy of the same to this office.
