All the District Educational Officers in the State are informed that the

Mid-Day Meal programme is a flagship programme aiming at enhancing

enrolment, retention and attendance and

simultaneously improving

nutritional levels among children studying in Government owned/ aided

Primary/ Upper Primary/ High schools and NCLP centers.

In the reference 1st read above detailed instructions and guidelines

have been issued on several issues in implementation of Mid Day Meal

scheme.

For an effective and systematic implementation of the programme it

is proposed to conduct a review meeting on 11th September 2079 (from

10 AM to 5 PM) in the Conference Ha1l,4th floor, O/o Commissioner of

School Education, Amaravati located at Ibrahimpatnam Krishna district

to discuss the implementation of the scheme and various aspects

involved therein. The important issues that may come up for discussion

afe'.

. Amount pending in the PD Accounts relating to Constructions of

Kitchen-cum- storerooms.

. Payments ofhonorarium to CCHs and cooking cost and pendency.

Clearance of pending bills.

. Payment of bills payable to AP State Civil Supplies towards food grains.

. Development on Kitchen Gardens and Model Kitchens.

. Inspections & visits conducted, Observations made and Action taken

thereon.

. Data Entry through Mobile App/ Online Entry.

. Maintenance of Kitchen protocols in Centralized Kitchens.

. Break fast provided in cooperation with Annapoorna Trust.

. Egg supply issues

. Food commission cases.
