Ho'ble Prime Minister's call to make India free from single use plastic- Schedule communicated

In continuation of this office proceedings of reference 2nd cited and the

schedule communicated by the loint Secretary(SSA-II),MHRD, New Delhi

in the reference 3rd cited , all the Project Officers of SSA and all the

District Educational Officers in the state are hereby informed that that the

Government have taken up the Program of Swachata Hi Seva as

prestigious and is monitoring the activities taken up from time to time.

2, In this connection the MHRD, New Delhi has communicated

the following Schedule for effective implementation and also sought for

the action plan on :28.10.2019. The loint Secretary Ministry of Human

Resource Development, Dept of School Education and Literacy, New Delhi

has instructed for ensuring participation of schoo! children in Shramdaan

on 1lth September,2O19 and 2nd October,2OLg and also informed that

the Swachhata Hi Seva zOLg woutd commence on 11th September,2019

and mass awareness generation activities fol plastic waste management

will be carried out across the country till 1st October, 20L9. On2nd

October, Swachh Bharat Diwas, a special national shramdan for plastic

waste collection will be organized in a!! villages and towns across the

country. From 3|.d October till 27th October,2019 (Diwali),the collected

plastic waste will then be effectively recycled and disposed .
