SINGLE USE PLASTIC” under Swachata Action Plan 2019-20 –

It is to inform that Government of India decided to BAN ON SINGLE USE

PLASTIC” in India from October, 2nd onwards in a mass manner and requested

all the plastic manufacturers to go for alternative methods to prevent the plastic

usage like small plastic bottles, plastic bags, straws, cups, plates and certain

types of sachets etc.,.

In this connection, All the District Coordinators of APNGC in the State is

requested to organize a Door to Door to campaign programme, rallies and

meetings on “BAN ON SINGLE USE PLASTIC” under Swachata Action Plan

2019-20 involving local Leaders / Stake hold Departments immediately in the

rural Villages / Mandals / Towns on this theme and also to organize the same on

“WATER CONSERVATOIN” and submit the bills along with photographs (cell

phone photos), documentation etc., for making payments.

Further it is also requested to initiate action in all Eco-Club schools to

create awareness not to use any plastic carry bags for books, water bottles,

water packets etc., and report compliance.
