All the Project Officers, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, and the District Educational
Officers in the state are rnformed that as per the PAB 2Ol9-20, the State Project
Director of SSA is decided to implement the Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) in
the state to develop a spirit of inquiry, creativity and love for Science and
Mathematics in UP and UP sections in KGBV school children,
As part of this, it is planned to organise one day
district on 21-08-2019 to orient the RAA activities to all
GCDOs in the State to prepare the plan of action for the
said activity so as the following activities are planned as
meetrng at Anantapuram
the concerned AMOs and
implementation of above
per PAB for the academic
Further the Project Officer of SSA, Anatapuram District is directed to plan
and identify the venue for conduct of one day meeting with all AMOs and GCDOs s
in the State. The budget may be met from management cost of the DPO
Anatapuram District on reimbursement base subject to condition to submit the bill
and vouchers to SPO office. The following officers are to be participated in the
meeting which as fallows.
Certain Guidelines for the imolementation of RAA:
1. To identify the remaining UP schools/sections and KGBVs along with UDISE and
no. students enrolled with up to class VIII or UP Schools as per UDISE which
are to be mapping the higher education institutions and the same may
furnished to SPO
2. To map and indentify the all Higher Educationalfl-echnical Institutions
Centra/State Universities/Colleges under UGC/AICTE as mentor agencies for
mentoring the RAA activities for networking and tagging.
3. To Constitute district level Steering Committee for the implementation of RAA
activities under the chairmanship of Hon'ble District Collector , with the
members of DEO.PO,DIET Principal AMO, Nodal members from representative
from science/technology/cultural dept.
4. All the POs in the state to be taken the following activities
1) Formation of Science /Maths clubs (in all schools taken up)
2) Participation in Children's Science Congress
3) Participation in Maths & Science Olympiads
District/State/Nationa I level.
4) Formation of teacher circles on Science/maths
5. To roll out all initiatives of RAA and monitor progress
6. To coordinate the components and institutes involved
7. To publicize the achievement of the programme
8. AMOs should act as a district level RAA Coordinator
9. To plan the activities for mentoring the schools, and attracting Science and
Mathematics talent among the children.
10.To purchase and supply the Maths and Science kits through District Purchasing
committee after finalization of district committee
ll.Promoting Student Science Clubs and develop the Resource Material.
12.To conduct meeting once in a month and extend required support and take
follow-up action.
13.To recognition through awards and certificates to students, teachers and
schools to provide encouragement and build self-esteem.
