Awardee Teachers salaries further instructions
The attention of all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational Officers in the State is drawn to the reference 15'8 read above. A clarification is sought from the Government for issuing of financial concurrence for the G.O.Ms.No: 101, School Education (General) Dept, dated: 31.12.2018.
Further, it is informed that, in the ref 16" cited, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P., Amaravati has stated that, as the extension

of service is in contradiction of the Act.4 of 2014, published in AP Gazette on 27" June, 2014, wherein the age of Superannuation of all the employees in the state is specified as 60 years and addressed the Government for clarification in the matter, In reply, the
Government in Finance Department has instructed “to withhold such claims until further orders in the matter”.
Accordingly, the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, A.P., Amaravati has given instructions to all Deputy Directors of all District Treasuries to withhold claims relating to those employees who got enhancement of one year of service beyond the age of superannuation for both National and State Teacher Awardees who are still in service as the
Government in Finance Department has instructed “to withhold such claims until further orders in the matter”.
It is learnt that the Act.4 of 2014, published in AP Gazette on 27th June, 2014 is required to be amended in order to give validity to the G.O.M.S No.101, cited serial 7. This is likely to take time. It is also reported from some districts that the District Treasury Officers are not releasing salaries to such awardee teachers whose service period is to be
extended by one year as per G.O.MS.No.101, dated: 31.12.2018.
Hence, vide reference 15") cited, addressed to the Government requesting to issue suitable instructions so as to extend the services of National and State Best Teacher Awardees for one year beyond the superannuation as per the G.O.Ms.No. 101, School Education (General) Department, dated: 31.12.2018 and to release the salaries to them. It is informed that the clarification orders are awaited from the Government.
In view of the position circumstances explained above, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational Officers in the State are informed not to continue the Teachers /HMs who got National and State Best Teachers Awards beyond the retirement day, until the clarification orders rare received from the
Government on the matter. Accordingly their pension cases may be processed and settled.
