AP Secondary Education Society – Model Schools – Selection procedure in IIITs – Certain instructions issued - Reg.
1. Admission:
a. Admission into 6-year Integrated Engineering programme in Rajiv Gandhi University of
Knowledge Technology will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of
the details mentioned in the application and the original certificates / documents
submitted by the candidate at the Certificate verification and Admission centre. Mere
certificate verification /documents will not guarantee admission of the candidate.
2. Notification:
(a) Date of notification mostly released every year in the month of April.
(b)The classes will be commenced regularly every year in the month of August.
3. How to Apply:
The candidates should apply through AP Online services only.
a. Application Fee: Rs. 150/- (for OC and BC candidates) Rs. 100/- (for SC and ST
candidates)
b. The application fee should be paid in cash at AP Online service center, for which the
center will issue a receipt.
c. An additional amount of Rs. 25/- per application should be paid as service charges to the
APOnline Centre.
d. If any candidate applies more than once, then the latest application will be considered for
the selection process.
4. List of Certificates to be enclosed in the case of candidates with PH/CAP/NCC /
Sports:
After submitting the application through online, applicants claim reservation under
PH/CAP/NCC/Sports should send its print-out duly signed along with copies of the relevant
certi6icates (mentioned below) to The Convener, UG Admissions-2019, Rajiv Gandhi
University of Knowledge Technologies, Flat Number 202, Second 1loor, NRI Block(C)
,Sri Mahendra Enclave,Tadepalli, Guntur District – 522501, Andhra Pradesh, by Speed
post / Registered post. The candidate should write on top of the cover “Application for
Admissions 2019-RGUKT .
Certi6ied copies of the following certi6icates or documents should be sent along with the print-
out of the online application form submitted through APOnline services.
a. Hall ticket of 10th class or its equivalent
b. Certificate showing the GPA of 10th class public examination, like SSC / CBSE / ICSE /
NIOS.
c. NCC certificate by those claiming reservation under this category (for details see
Annexure – VII).
d. Sports certificate(s) at the level of inter-district and above by those claiming reservation
under this category (for details see Annexure – VII).
5. Admission Procedure:
a. Admissions to the first year of Integrated B.Tech Program (2019-20) will be based on
merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject and by
following the statutory reservations of the State.
b. Admission to 85% of total available seats shall be reserved for ‘local candidates’(Andhra
Pradesh) and the remaining 15% of the seats are open to the students of Andhra Pradesh
