Tribal Welfare Department – Rationalization of Drawing and Disbursement Officers of Tribal Welfare Department – Financial Powers relating to maintenance of Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions (Hostels, Ashram Schools and Post-Matric College Hostels) – Declaring the senior staff member of the school, who acts as the head of the office, where there is no sanctioned HM post to carryout the functions of a DDO also - Orders – Issued.
ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, Government have permitted to withdraw the
Drawing powers of HMs/HWOs of Tribal Welfare Department and declare the ATWOs
of Tribal Welfare Department as Drawing and Disbursement Officer to the Hostels and
Ashram Schools and their jurisdiction, to meet the expenditure under (05) Educational
Institutions thereby reducing the DDOs and for ensuring the smooth functioning of the
Hostel system.
2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Director of Treasures and Accounts has
permitted the HMs of the Ashram Schools to act as DDOs, but in respect of (193)
Ashram Schools without HM posts, the ATWOs are given responsibility of DDOs.
3. Now, in the interest of ensuring that the school staff are not put to any
inconvenience with non-payment of salaries, Government after careful examination
hereby permit the senior staff member of the school, who acts as the head of the
office, where there is no sanctioned HM post to carryout the functions of a DDO also.
4. The Director of Tribal Welfare, A.P., Vijayawada shall take necessary action
accordingly.
5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their
U.O.No.FMU0MISC/14/2019-FMU-W-I, Dt.08-02-2019.
